Seems extremely heavy overall. Only 4 stars because the instructions didn't come with it. I can not say exactly whether the pins should be crimped or soldered. I tried crimping the ground pin, the 8 gauge crimp worked fine but wasn't tight enough for the 8 gauge wire I had. The 10 gauge crimp was tight enough to hold the wire securely, but the pin "pinched" around the edges. Removing the o-rings and soldering with a flashlight (like they were solder cups) seems to be the way to go. However, holes on the smaller pins allow solder to spill out and need cleaning. I have a feeling these pins should be crimped, but without documentation it's too much trial and error. All of these questions would be clearer if instructions were given. Since you don't have extra pins, you have "a chance" to tie them to the cable.
