This coarse OMT sandpaper (40 grit) is very handy. It is much coarser than the 80 grit DWASPTRI08 sandpaper available from DeWALT. does what it should and holds up well. I have not experienced any abrasive clogging or significant reduction in abrasive performance. When using this coarse grit, I keep an eye on the panel to avoid damage to the substrate such as cracks. B. when rubbing the plate to avoid. During hard sanding I rubbed the blade through. Adhesive backing is good enough, but not as good as DeWALT abrasives. I've seen it swell from the sheet but it still works fine. I still have mixed feelings about the holes. The pad has a central hole. The leaves have six holes in a circle. With my vacuum sander, the holes line up, the vacuum removes debris and keeps the paper cool, greatly extending the life of the abrasive and improving sanding. / upholstery hole? Holes CAN help with cooling. I saw accumulations of dust on the substrate near the holes.
