From Revain I bought a 12V Inkbird digital temperature controller, a 12V switch panel for a 6 key car boat, a CrocSee NTC 10K 5 meter temperature sensor and 16 Bgears b-Blaster 140mm fans with 2 ball bearings and installed the attic ventilation system. The 5m 10K NTC temp sensor cable came in handy as I wanted the sensor to be near the top of the attic, away from the fans and attic exit. The entire system runs on 12V DC solar power and draws 4.25A. Inkbird is set to 80 degrees Fahrenheit in cooling mode. I chose a temperature offset of 1 degree Fahrenheit so the fans turn on at 81 degrees and stay on for several hours until the attic cools to 79.9 degrees. Inkbird is very small. I made some brackets to hold it securely under the rafters just above the sliding attic ladder. I compared the displayed temperature on the Inkbird to a popular electronic thermometer and it was within 0.1 degrees Fahrenheit. Programming Inkbird is not difficult as the instructions are well written. If you need a 12V DC temperature controller, be sure to specify a 12V device.
