Review on MÜHLE Grande R89 Double Edge Safety Razor: The Ultimate Barbershop-Quality Razor for a Close, Smooth Shave Every Day! by Chris Pinkston

This is an attractive razor that gives a decent shave. The extra bulk and weight takes a little getting used to, but for me the weight helps make me feel light. My original order broke in transit but the seller promptly replaced it at no cost or hassle to me. UPDATE: I dropped this razor about 6" on the countertop this morning, the razor is broken and cannot be put back together because the threads on the head screws are now stripped (I suspect they've already come loose from normal use to have). This very short bolt that is welded to the head is of very poor quality, was never fitted with zero precision and is not good quality metal. The shipping damage I mentioned in my original review was a broken screw and now this. I could understand it if I dropped it a few feet onto a hard floor, but seriously? People drop things, design and materials should take this into account. I could spend $25 on a head replacement, but I'm not going to give good money for bad. I will buy another brand.
