Review on AeroCatch Plus Flush Hood Latch by Robert Buenconsejo

Very good solid clasp, glad I took it. It took a while to install (it's an odd shape) and I had to make some brackets for the aluminum studs it attaches to, but it's not cheap and works great. Looks pretty cool too. To help the hood lift up a bit when not latched I took some springs and plastic pads to attach the bolt/latch/thing and pry up the latch body; gives a very positive, solid feeling when closing or opening. I also replaced all hardware with stainless steel to prevent rust and two years later they are still working great as the day they were installed. Edit: They have been in my car for a little over 2 years, have never been parked in a garage and still look great! I was concerned about plastic degradation after being in direct sunlight for a long time, but so far so good.
