Looks deceptive. When you first see this plunger, you might think it's just a silly kid's toy. In practice, however, it's the most powerful, versatile, and portable little piston you can imagine. Not only does it offer amazing suction power, but it's small enough to use on any drain in your house and when you're done you can just tuck it under the sink and just forget about it until you need it again. I bought this plunger for bathroom sinks which are constantly clogged and very difficult to sink with standard long handled plungers due to the curvature around the drain hole. We usually skip one of these altogether and go straight to duct disassembly, which takes a lot of work and time and effort, especially if you are elderly and have back and knee problems. Today I needed to fix two partially clogged sinks before they got any worse, so I blocked the overflows with paper towels. As someone recommended for increased suction, both filled with hot water to clear clogs as much as possible and was good to go. What struck me right away is that there's a little trick to tipping this plunger right over the sink. deflate before it really sticks, but once you have it, you'll know and never forget how to hit that sweet spot again. The suction power is incredible and the amount of debris is disgusting, but it proves that it works very well. As a result, both of these drains were shut down completely within minutes. I had to repeat the process a few times on both sinks to get the best results, but that's to be expected and it actually took almost no time or real effort to get the job done completely. It wasn't that difficult to clean the area around the sink since the suction of this plunger is so well controlled. It practically does not spatter or spatter.
