After moving into our new home we started looking for a new light fixture to replace the outdated fluorescent light in the laundry room. We wanted something that looks beautiful but is also functional as this is the space we enter through the garage. Our laundry room is an oddly shaped room with a vaulted ceiling, making it difficult to choose the right fixtures. It turned out to be the perfect choice! As with many similar products, the installation instructions weren't the clearest, but by taking our time and referring to the photos in the listing we were able to figure it out. Something to know, the circles will fit in multiple places on the base so it's important to check the photos to make sure they're positioned correctly. Do all the assembly on the floor before installing on the ceiling. The actual installation on the ceiling is easy. The bracket supplied mounts to our standard junction box, although the bracket protrudes either side of the box - this allows the outer body of the light to be attached with 4 small screws. The device itself is very light for its size. The installation takes about 50 minutes from start to finish. The luminosity of this lamp is outstanding. I am always amazed by the advances in LED technology and new lighting designs. This is a great example of using new technology effectively. The color temperature of this lamp can be easily adjusted by remote control from a warm 3000 Kelvin to a cool 6000 Kelvin and the luminosity can be dimmed to a minimum. We were able to connect a remote control to control them all. Fewer remotes flying around is always a bonus for me. We put this light on a motion activated switch so it turns on when there is motion and turns off after 1 minute. The lamp remembers the previous settings so that it always shines in the color and brightness that we like. After we adjusted the color and brightness of the lamp, the remote control was no longer needed. We've had the unit for a few weeks now and are very happy with our decision to add it to our home. It looks amazing, the light is bright, clean and just what we wanted. The size turned out to be just what we needed and mounting to the vaulted ceiling presented no problems. We really like this lamp and can highly recommend it and this brand. We will try to find other lamps of this brand in the next lighting search! This is definitely a lamp worth buying.
