I don't know why some reviewers of Vacuflo socks have problems. If you follow the instructions as written it took us 20 minutes to install without any problems. You need to slide the sock all the way over the cardboard tube and then slide the tube down from the end of the wall socket to the handle. This becomes a lot easier if you have a tile floor or a wooden floor that will keep the tube ribbed if you put a sock on it. Also make sure that the sock with the snorkel is compressed as much as possible when you put the sock through the snorkel. When the entire sock is compressed on the tube, slide the sock off the tube. At the end of the handle, leave about 2 or 3 inches of extra sock at the end of the handle: Fold that extra sock back on itself, leaving a 3 inch cuff. another collar at the end of the tube with a receiving hole. Attach two zip ties, one at each end, and then use pliers to tighten both zip ties: not so tight that the Vacuflo hose is pinched.
