Perfect replacement

Perfect replacement for a 20+ year old vacuum system. The old one was dusty and stank. Easy installation if you follow the instructions

Get ready to install

Too short for a hose, had to struggle to fit it onto the pipe. Ties are not effective for keeping it in place. I ended up cutting up old socks to cover the parts the sleeve didn't cover.

easy to install with cardboard tube provided, this sock worked exactly as advertised to avoid having to drag black marks around door jambs over and over again. Very happy!

The sock itself is good but instructions are provided on how to use the postal tube.

The sock itself is good but the instruction to put it on the vacuum hose with a mail tube is not possible. The sock is too long to fit fully inside the snorkel. I ended up with a double reverse bump that couldn't be fixed. I ended up cutting and destroying the sock to use the hose. Buy a sock but ignore the instructions for using the postal tube.

Dirt Magnet - Vacuum & Floor Care

This product was purchased in 2014. When my tube needed replacing I removed the sock with the intention of using it on the new tube. Removing was much easier than installing. The installation was excruciating and almost impossible! What you don't know is that these hose socks attract dirt. I couldn't believe the dirt covering the outer sleeve of the vacuum hose. It was disgusting! I mean how difficult is it to install these things, who even takes them off to wash? Also, my baseboards were just…

I don't know why some reviewers of Vacuflo socks have problems. If you follow the instructions as written it took us 20 minutes to install without any problems. You need to slide the sock all the way over the cardboard tube and then slide the tube down from the end of the wall socket to the handle. This becomes a lot easier if you have a tile floor or a wooden floor that will keep the tube ribbed if you put a sock on it. Also make sure that the sock with the snorkel is compressed as much as…
