Excellent straws! I use them for cocktails and for casual dinners so I don't have to use plastic straws. They are a bit wider than normal straws, which is what I was looking for. The silicone tips are essential so that your teeth don't bite into the steel, which incidentally has no aftertaste even after a few washes in the dishwasher. I do want to mention that if, like me and my husband, you like to grab straws with your teeth or just bite into them, the silicone tips leave little indentations (see the picture of the red straw in the smoothie glass). We don't care, we're glad they are and we don't gnaw on steel haha. They also came with two cleaning brushes. My suggestion to the manufacturer would be to make the brushes slightly longer by an inch or two. That would be great!
