I always have something like that in my handbag. The silicone tip is the best: tasteless and odorless, protects your tender lips from freezing to the metal straw, easy to remove and reattach after washing, yet stays firmly on the straw. I only wish there was a durable cloth, felt and leather case to protect it and keep it clean before use and to store after that delicious milkshake so it doesn't spill onto your purse, briefcase or backpack.

These straws are of fairly good quality. I use them for regular drinks. I like the rubber tip and how some of the straws are angled. The big problem I had was an addiction to a cup that is difficult to drink from. When drinking from a flat surface glass cup the suction will cause the straw to stick to the bottom unlike other plastic cups I use which have a groove at the bottom of the cup and the straw doesn't stick to the bottom . below by suction.
