The DH takes A LOT of pills for a neuro disorder. He was in desperate need of a new pill organizer and we've looked at hundreds over the last year. Many are fairly gimmicky, with lots of little flippers and seams that can become brittle and break easily in our arid climate. He is so pleased that the mechanism to open each compartment doesn't actually have a bendy latch, rather it just pushes open. He also appreciates the thoughtful, almost professional-looking, black "leatherette" folio that holds the daily plastic cases. The magnetic closure is strong. I didn't measure, but closed, it looks like it is the same size as the old-school classic Franklin Covey daytimer. Filled with pills, it might be as heavy, too.++++UPDATE++++I've added some pics to show just how many pills you can fit into each section. Big Old Supplements like fish oils will fit approximately 6 pills in each cup. Smaller D3 pills or Ibuprophen tablets will fit about 20 in each cup.
