Review on Timken RET153 Wheel Bearing Retaining by Charles Lewellen
This wheel bearing is not going anywhere
I used these rings to replace old oxidized snap rings on my 2001 RAV-4. The old locking rings were welded incredibly hard to the hub and had to be destroyed with fire and fury like the world had never seen to get them out. The new rings fit as expected. The only downside is that I'm surprised no one chose to make them out of a non-corrosive material like brass or stainless steel.
