Review on Google Pixel 3a XL Case - SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Series: Full-Body Rugged Holster Case with Built-in Screen Protector for Google Pixel 3a XL 2019 Release (Blue) by Joshua Follansbee

Nice body with some minor modifications.

In general, Unicorn Beetle Pro isn't bad, but it has one glaring (literal) flaw. I prefer holstered cases for my phone as I usually carry it on my belt and I like the added protection of the hard plastic case that covers the screen when in the case. This case appears to protect the phone from a moderate drop, although I haven't tested it - I haven't dropped a phone in years and won't try now. The touchscreen and all sensors work great with the case, and the case doesn't interfere with the microphone or speaker. The headphone jack and charging ports are covered with protective covers, so the case will not work with the docking station unless you cut off the charging port cover. The volume and power buttons are still responsive, as is one-button activation of the Google Assistant. The downside I mentioned is the built-in screen protector. This is a plastic film that protects the screen from scratches. It won't help much for impact protection, but I knew it was happening. The problem with this is that the bright light is distracting and it's almost never clean. On the outside it's a magnet for fingerprints and smudges, and somehow the inside gets dirty and dirty too. I ended up removing the built-in screen protector and putting a tempered glass screen protector on the phone. No more smudges, no more fingerprints and improved impact protection.
