Review on GAMUDA Pet Puppy Collar Identification by Desiree Scott

Too big for newborn puppies

I have used velcro collars in the past and although they work I don't like them as they get very dirty and fall off easily. But they are better than these! Newborn Great Pyrenees puppies and I don't even fit in the smallest of the small sizes. I adjusted the collar to the smallest possible size. Poor puppies always have their limbs stuck in it! I have to take them off and wait about a week for them to fit. The whole point of collars is that you can tell who is who. This is especially important when checking the weight, which is essential in the first few days and weeks to avoid a puppy wilting. Luckily in this litter 7/9 of the puppies were born with markings and the only ones that are all white are straight. However, this means I have to constantly review photos to make sure I have the right pup. Incredibly frustrating because these collars feel strong and I love that they are detachable but they are useless to me if they are too small to use. Larger puppies (18-22 oz) seem to be able to carry them with ease. But I have a couple of puppies in 16 oz. and there are only 13 people in the litter. None of them can wear collars without risk of losing a limb.
