I never buy cartridges. I'm more of an ink converter kind of guy. I've had some friends and family member interested in FPs so in the last three months I've purchased a variety of fountain pens so I can gift them. The people receiving them are new to FPs so cartridges it is. So me, they guy who never uses cartridges, had to lean about them in a hurry.These 3.4mm bore cartridges fit the Hongdian pens just fine. Blue erasable (most blue fountain pen ink including blue carts are erasable, search for ink eradicator) and washable (use oxyclean) cartridge so they won't ruin a shirt (or rug) when they have the inevitable ink accident.Be careful buying carts on Walmart. You may search for 3.4mm, but you will get 2.6mm bore size carts in the results. Click too fast and you'll end up buying the wrong cartridges.
