Hello, overall I am satisfied with these speakers. Being a professional musician I wanted to give only 3 stars because of the frequency response. The lowest frequency is 70Hz according to the specs and you can hear the difference with a high-end speaker that would drop down to inaudible frequencies. However, I chose this product because of the fact that the cabinets are actually made of wood (which I find to be a much better choice than any plastic or synthetic material), the size, the fact that it's a two-way system , and the 24 W power . Exit. (12 watts per channel), and all for just $69. Not a bad deal if you don't have the cash or aren't choosy enough to get a high-end desktop speaker for over £2 or £300. I later noticed that Bluetooth models added a treble control (in addition to volume and bass) and moved the control panel to the right of the speaker to make it more accessible. The only thing that deserves praise in this price range is the headphone output on the front. Office work may be required for privacy reasons when the boss is in the office. or if you don't want to disturb your colleagues with your sound. :-) I also have a pair of Sony SRS-X55 desktop speakers with bluetooth. I have to say that the Edifiers may not achieve the same sound quality as the Sony across the range, but the Sony may not respond well to a full orchestra or classical guitar music at medium volume and mid-tone. Edifier speakers are good in every way, they do a good job if you hear well, but they can refuse to be overly picky. They hold their tone fairly well and so far I haven't heard any distortion even at higher volumes or full of orchestral music. I especially like their phrase "proudly made in China". I'd rather hear that than spoofing the name of a big brand that hides its origins. These speakers proved to me that audio products made in China can get much better and be really enjoyable to listen to. Good buy, I recommend. ;)
