I bought this to record things and what impresses me more is that this recorder on a desk or in a bag will record everything. Even with minimal movement of this voice recorder, the sound quality remains clear when I select the play option on the voice recorder. Even though I can hear it moving, I can still clearly hear what's being said in the background. I had this on my desk during a meeting, and when it was about a foot away from me, it picked me up and placed the pen on the table as if it were right next to me. I can also connect this to any computer and transfer the recordings to my computer. They are automatically saved as an MP3 file so I can email the recordings. Even though it came with AAA batteries, I've already had to replace them, but only once. I use this to record almost every day, so changing the batteries after a month shows that the battery life is long lasting. This voice recorder is very easy to use and almost self-explanatory.
