After trying several rubber tip stylus pens and being disappointed I ordered this one. On others, the rubber tips didn't always close or didn't have the precision I needed, for example to close tabs in Google Chrome (which I can't always do with my finger either). This combines with precision and lightness every time. I haven't tried it for sketches, but it works fine with little checkboxes and things like that. You don't have to press very hard to make contact. When you crush it, the metal grille makes a crunching noise, which I don't think is good for the tip. Update May 6, 2015 - I've been using this stylus for a few months now with a 2013 Nexus 7. Over time I find that inserting and removing the stylus from the elastic loop on the side of the third party case frayed a few threads has on the pen. As far as I can tell, this doesn't affect the functionality of the pen. I said above that the pen is 100% accurate (for checkboxes etc) but I'd say it's closer to 90%. To be fair, some of that may be due to the tablet; No touch screen is perfect. I'm not deducting a star at the moment because it's still the best stylus I've ever had and it works pretty well.
