Thread Leaks - Water Softener
The thread is too big. No matter how much teflon tape you put on your 1 inch adapter, there's a good chance it will leak. I bought two of these and luckily one is holding up but the other just keeps leaking. After unscrewing the PVC adapter for the third time and stretching it with Teflon tape, the brass insert finally broke. Should have listened to other reviews on this item before purchasing. Lesson learned. Do yourself a favor, get another brand or something.
- ๐ EASY TO USE: There is a rubber O-ring on the top of the case body to ensure tightness. The pressure release button on the inlet side of the cap relieves pressure on the housing for changing the filter cartridges.
