TO UPDATE! Easy installation, long dog wash hose, good flow after removing the restrictor ring.

Includes everything you need for a quick and easy installation in about 3-4 minutes. No need to pull pliers and wrenches. I just hand tightened everything and it doesn't leak anywhere. I like a high flow shower head and am willing to pay water for that luxury which is why I read about removing the flow restrictor. The model I received offered a simple solution. I looked into the shower head handle where the hose attaches and noticed a small black o-ring about 1/4 inch in diameter. I took a small knife (but a needle will work too) and pulled it out to open the hole. I can always drill the whole thing out since it's just plastic (which I've done with others), but after that little O-ring is removed I have enough flow to make me happy (but I can still drill it out). , just to see). whatever will be). We'll see how long this lasts as it's a complete kit for less than $30. Oh, I read the answer to a question about how to unscrew the gray base of the handle to completely remove the restriction. I tried this with pliers and a towel wrapped around the plastic threads and concluded that I risked breaking this thing if I applied any more torque so I employed plan B which was to to remove that little sealing ring and see what happens. enough.UPDATE. So I'm the guy who likes to push the limits and the thought of restricting flow in the grip after the o-ring popped out started to bother me. So back to work. I took a knife and stuck it in what was left of the flow restrictor and cut 6 small pieces of plastic around it holding what stayed in place (looked like a small wagon wheel). I pulled the piece out with needle nose pliers and this is what I have now without trying to unscrew that overgrown plastic fitting (which I tried again for fear of breaking everything). Now I have a big hole and the flow has improved even more. I used to be fine with Flow, but more is better in my opinion. Here is a photo after cutting. It took about 2 minutes to finish.
