Review on Moen 113173 Mounting Hardware Kit by Logan Goozmer

Kit includes two different nuts to fit any Moen faucet stem. Absolutely essential and does not come with the faucets they sell as Moen shows how to install faucets with this kit on YouTube. Instead of a plastic Moen wrench, I used a 27/32 metal wrench to remove the $6 bathtub and shower valves at Home Depot and tightened the faucet stem nut much more tightly. It's the only way you can use a standard metal hex. Lessons learned but definitely the way to go as it gives you extra leverage and reduces the length of the shank allowing you to then use a standard hex. Much luck!
