These pads look like a good idea and are well made but there are radial ridges on either side of the pad making it too thick. Just enough to raise the pan 1/8 inch above the glass surface and the pan does not heat AT ALL on my GE Profile induction range, which is the highest rated range. The controller reports an error, which means I can't feel the pan through this pad. Available fiberglass reinforced silicone pads like Silpat, which are much thinner, work well. I wanted something round that would fit in the area of the pad "burner" on the stove. Oh, and one more thing: don't forget that you won't get a splash guard by matching the pad to the size of the burner. Buy pads that are larger than the burner to catch grease and spills well.
