Okay, the box will probably need to be modified to fit your rack system.

Bought this box to put on my Ninja 250. I bought them mainly to throw my gear in when I get to the place. It goes with my XL full face helmet, gloves and almost at the same time goes with my jacket. If I had a smaller jacket it could go with everything. However, it will not fit 2 full face helmets unless they are very small. It looks a bit big for a bike, but no one I know has commented on that. Installation was easy. It comes with 4 screws that you put through your current mounting post, plus some horizontal brackets if you don't have a solid mounting plate. I would recommend buying extra washers so the washers are on the top of the bolts and not just the bottom as the instructions say. The box mounts on top of the rack and "snaps in". The lock seemed quite strong, he didn't want to come loose easily. In terms of strength, this is not surprising. My biggest concern is the integrity of the single weld that holds the box to the frame. It looks patchy, and while it hasn't crashed and it doesn't seem like many people have crashing issues, it makes me a little nervous. Plastic isn't amazing quality, but it's perfectly adequate. However, if someone wants to steal your box, it won't stand up to abuse. The lock is another mistake. The box has a strange locking system that keeps it closed. Better would be to snap it or even ditch the lock and use a regular padlock to keep the thing closed. It's hard enough to close everything to get on my nerves. You also have to tap the mechanism with your finger to move the key to the 'lock' position and I feel like I was trying to force it to pick the lock or key. LEDs feel comfortable. as the box is quite large and could potentially hide some people from your taillights. It's pretty easy to hook up to brake lights, you can use them as running or brake lights, but I feel the LEDs are bright enough to be used as brake lights. They don't seem to have any zoom/dimming capabilities. So if you want running and brake lights, you need to get creative. Hooking it up was easy, they drilled a tiny hole in the bottom from which I drove into the bike over the mounting post and cut into the brake light wiring. These are LEDs so they use almost no power and shouldn't interfere with your regular brake lights. My future project for this box will be to find a way to include some of the turn signal functions as well.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some imperfections
