Review on Impossible Project Analog Instant Camera by Jeremy Choi

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Judging by some of the reviews, I expected the worst.

But the camera isn't actually as bad as I thought it would be. Everything worked as described. The open box experience was cool. The design of the product is well executed and neat. To my surprise, the app worked great. I had no problems with the magnetic viewfinder - it worked as it should - lifted up when the lid was pressed and folded down with a few folds. The loading problem seems to be one of the issues that a lot of people complained about, but from my experience. So far I've found that to get a quick charge (about an hour) I have to use the included USB charging cable. First I used my own USB phone cord and it took forever! In fact, after a full day of plugging it in, I don't think it charged at all. To be honest I didn't want to carry around and use another, IMO "regular" USB cable, but I guess we don't have a choice here. Impossible should have thought about it and designed a standard USB cable to work, rather than causing so much pain to so many users with a charging issue. I bought this camera during the big Revain sale so I think it's absolutely amazing value and a real bargain! Personally, I wouldn't pay the retail price. It's a good camera for fun, casual "artistic" use, but it's not for parties, as image quality doesn't compare to other similar instant cameras and batch film is overpriced. ! I think the cost of the film is the product's biggest weakness for me.
