Pencil Lovers Warning
They fit snugly around pencils and work well as pencil caps to protect the tip. But the sharpener itself works very, very well. Great point to shave without much wood. Update: They haven't broken at all with regular use, which I think would happen if they were plastic. I see other reviews that the cap is not suitable for pencils. I'm a fan of pencils so I decided to take it apart. This sharpener cap fits Blackwing, Mitsubishi: Hi Uni, 9800 and Palette (triangular), Tombow: Mono and 8900. They will NOT fit Staedtler Mars Lumograph or Dixon Ticonderoga. I have unusual pencils
