First of all, the description says 'pack of 2', but it is only one pack of 100pcs pack, not 2 packs of 100pcs (200pcs total). Second, I've ordered these filters before when they were cheaper, at the original price, and they've been great. Now I wish I could give this filter a 5 star rating (because I used to love these filters) but the price has gone up significantly and I paid a lot of money just to get them and found that the quality has also dropped significantly. I saw someone write a review saying it tasted like wet cardboard. Unfortunately I tried that on mine too, but worse. gross, chemically flavored, wet cardboard. Price and quality MUST be changed in the best possible way, otherwise I will have to look elsewhere for other products and solutions. I'm a big fan of Chemex, but I'm not sure what will happen if it's the new standard.
