I wasn't sure how exactly this light could be used but I LOVE some of the other lights this company makes so I decided to try something different. I have a problem. My large paludarium that houses my betta rubra suffers from the same problem as most paludariums. It is VERY difficult to properly light the area as it is much lower than the lights above the top of the tank. This little light solved the problem! Being waterproof, I was able to mount it right on the waterline, under the vent in my paludarium to give the area great light, see plants and fish, and visually integrate the area into the overall picture. the rest of the ad. I was a bit worried at first as the built in timer seemed to be interfering with the main timer of my lighting system and I don't want to deal with a light that has to be turned on manually every day. But a quick email to the manufacturer informed me that setting the built in timer to "off" would allow my own timer to properly control the light!
