Great product for the price

They really black out! No light penetrates these babies. I have them in dark brown. I bought three of these for our 107 inch window which is directly across from our large flat screen TV in the multimedia/family room. I was concerned when I saw the description "velvet" that they would look very dated and heavy. NOT SO! They look great, it's more of a suede fabric than heavy velvet. Don't get me wrong, these are heavy curtains, not light summer curtains. And my home is very different because of its bold contrast and clean appearance. They fit perfectly. CONS - You have to iron them. And they don't iron easily. They came out of the box with extra strong fold lines. I kind of expected that. However, I didn't expect that I would have to iron them for 2-3 hours and they would still look "out of the box". But less obvious? After hanging for a few weeks, they start to dangle and gradually look less and less baggy. I am very happy with it, even with the ironing. (I hate ironing.) They block the light and look great. But there is one thing that annoys me a little. One of the curtains "raises" at one of its lower ends. how. it is a little shorter than the other side. It gets better when they hang out, but since I'm anal I feel it. The other two curtains were ok. I chose not to return the curtain but I'm sure it wouldn't make much of a difference.
