I am very happy with this purchase! The product arrived quickly and fully corresponded to the description. I bought the 15 inch app and the remote option. It works well for providing natural light to a 40cm high octagonal aquarium. Although I lost the remote on day one and can't talk to these functions, the app provides a great way to control the lighting functions. I use white light but looked at other options and it's quite customizable. I used the app to set the schedule and never had to think about my tank again. I taped a flashlight to the glass above the water but it has been in the water multiple times with no problems. I don't think placing it below the waterline will be a problem if that's what you want to do. I definitely recommend this product and will probably buy it again in the future.
