bought because i got scabies from a kid at my work and although i used the permethrin cream as prescribed by the doctor, after about a week some new ones are back Flare spots have popped up, including the scalp and face, which I've been told not to apply permethrin cream to (because it's a toxic pesticide), and they're said to "rarely" affect those areas. But after reading that neem oil is a safe and natural way to cure scabies (mites that burrow into the skin) and I could even use it on my face and scalp, I bought it. And it worked! The few remaining areas where the mites returned were healed within a few days after reapplying neem oil daily and leaving a fresh coat on top overnight to prevent them from spreading to new areas. On top of that it made my skin and hair really nice, soft and hydrated and also helped damaged skin where there were mites to heal even faster than places where I had just used permethrin cream last week. Neem oil is a thick slurry at lower temperatures, but once heated it becomes liquid like coconut oil. It smells a bit like burnt peanut butter, but it's not too bad once you get used to it, especially considering all of its wonderful benefits. The seller's quality and service was excellent - fast and item in excellent new condition. The bottle even had an extra seal on top to prevent the lid from opening during shipping. Thank you! I only wish it was bigger as I used almost half the bottle on the first day! But at $13.99 for a 12-ounce product that worked better (or no worse) than the more expensive and toxic chemical product ($80 for a 60-gram tube of uninsured permethrin cream, $36 dollars with insurance at Walmart) is more than worth it. Money! (For 12 ounces of permethrin cream, that would be $452.80 without insurance!) I wanted to try it on my dog who has had dry, flaky skin since he took some medication last year. I'm sure this will help as well as I could see improvements in my skin the very next day!
