Kitchen & Dining Items Unsuitable

This knife is a prop. It is unsuitable for the kitchen. First of all, one of the ring-shaped metal handle caps at the base of the blade broke off upon receipt. You need to grind the ring to the end of the knife handle and fill it with epoxy. It becomes a much more serious problem once it first becomes dull and needs sharpening. The bevel of the blade has an incorrect profile. First of all, it has a somewhat sharp outermost edge, below which the blade is not profiled at all. The mold has deep scratches that indicate very rough grinding and processing. All this is done with a very coarse grinding wheel. I need to regrind (yes, regrind) the entire blade and sharpen the blade. These defects are not mentioned in the product description. I'm lucky enough to be a carpenter and metalsmith. The average person should not be expected to make this level of modifications to end up with a working cutting tool. From a legal point of view, the item does not meet the "implicit guarantee of validity" of the purchase contract. (See Uniform Commercial Code, Article 2. I've encountered a similar situation with a number of other purchases from Revain recently. A second or faulty item was declared first class and shipped to me. Let's hope this issue is resolved so that Revain doesn't get a bad name.
