This is a basic basic desk mount for mounting a VESA 75x75 or 100x100 (or even 50x50) monitor. By opening it, I acknowledge the validity of others' concerns that the top tilt thumbscrew is ineffective. It does not thread easily or fully, although repeated attempts to screw it in and out will tend to have its threads screwed in more fully. Even then, it's still a weak point and I find it's not possible to manually screw it in enough to keep the monitor from tipping down. The design is very lacking. The monitor tilt is also less than I expected but adequate for what I need. The clamp for the tube that raises and lowers the elevation is plastic and I doubt its strength and durability. I love the fact that it's built very small and has a very low height when lowered. First overall impressions are good, although I see general design limitations.
