This tent is fantastic. This summer I've used it on four backpacking trips and about eight road trips. There were several nights of heavy rain in the Rocky Mountains. I stayed completely dry. I have also been to high wind areas more than once. With gusts of up to 60 m/s. This tent barely expanded while the others with me struggled to put up their tents again. This tent is big enough for my gear, my dog and me. Not to mention he weighs about four pounds. I would say I hardly notice it in my pack, but even at 45 pounds the pack can be heavy when scaling a 4000ft slope. I don't know how much more it holds, I've only used it for one season but I wasn't expecting it to last even that long. I will also be using the tent for hunting and snowshoeing in the winter, so I'll update my post!
