I really wanted to like his bandage. That looks great. However, the upper Velcro is actually further up the brace and cuts into the base of the thumb, making it uncomfortable and sometimes painful as the Velcro cuts into the skin. I am used to braces and had to give them up because of this defect. If you take a closer look at the promotional photo, you can see that they cut off most of the thumb so you can't see it hanging from the sling. Nobody's hand looks like this in real life. It is missing a significant portion of the base of the thumb. It also tends to slip in and out of the hand, which for some reason doesn't happen with other braces. The front and back are sturdy, comfortable and easy to put on. So if they can solve both of those problems, this would be a good orthosis.
