The material didn't hold up.
My son chose these shoes because they are all black. He takes special care of his shoes and doesn't want the dirt to show. Besides that... he might be 7 but he tries to take care of his shoes. After a week, the mesh that appeared to be the outside of the boot tore into holes in the toes. This photo is from about a month ago.
