It works but.: my feedback
This is a small pump. Very quite and seamlessly goes from ac to dc. But, it is very small. Not a lot of air coming out of the thing especially after you add a check valve. Would be great for transporting small fish or a air feature on a small tank such as a 5 or 10 gallon. Not enough force for anything bigger or even a sponge filter. Works great for powering a 1" air stone though.
