Well it isn't - it seems the so-called "standard" MC4 isn't really standard, and the Bouge has slightly smaller locking nuts than the Renogy, and this tool is too big to effectively tighten the Bouge fittings. I will keep it for use with Renogy cables and can still use it for unplugging cables but thought I should let others know it will be much less useful for tightening Bouge RV MC4 connectors.
