I have had starting problems since I bought this car and was told it was the fuel pump. I bought it because the price is right. However, the problem persists even after the fuel pump is installed. Injectors checked, fuel rails checked. I am almost 100% sure that the check valve on the pump I received was defective. I can't afford to swap out another pump so I have to turn the wrench 3-5 times to increase the pressure. Make sure you honestly get what you pay for. . As with many important things in life, you shouldn't skimp on the heart of your car, because you won't get anywhere without a properly working pump. It's also very noisy, but not as annoying as a defective check valve.
