I bought these filters about a month ago to keep my water still handy. Today I used a filter with 24 pieces for the first time. I normally get 4 liters of distilled water in 4 hours, but after 3 1/2 hours I had only filled about a third of the water tank. As it turned out, water was leaking from under the still nozzle that holds the filter, and the countertop was soaked with water. I had a few folded towels on the counter that were soaked through. I do not recommend these filters for use in water stills. I only hope that the distiller did not suffer from water leakage from the case.
