I had to replace a lot of Category 5e cables so I decided to upgrade to Category 6. The cable is of good construction, solid copper strands, good twist balance between pairs and the core retains good twist balance between pairs at. Slightly thicker than the Cat 5e it replaced (but that's to be expected) and a little stiffer (that's also to be expected). The additional rigidity helps to avoid bending radii that are too small. The only small minus is the box. He's pretty muddy. It didn't survive Revane's gentle grace as a hole was punched in it (apparently it was in a crate before shipping, too big for him and nothing prevented it from flying in the crate but nothing that the hole in the crate would explain box). Carton as an outer carton was ok). The box was opened on both sides. A quick dose of gorilla tape fixed that. Given the weight of the cable, a larger box would have been better.
