The phone fell out of this case almost every time I wore it until finally the screen broke after about the 4th time. I thought it might have been operator error, so I kept the holster until the problem finally turned out to be a faulty design. I had a closed holster for my I6 and GS7. Both worked great so I hoped the same with this one for s8+. With this design, the phone slides out from back to front when the phone is in the upright carrying position, which is the only carrying position that makes sense for such a large phone. This allows the phone to move easily with body movements and collisions with other objects (car seat, backpack, kids, girlfriend), meaning you won't know your $800 phone is loose until it's too late. Previous models popped up and down which made this holster, at least in my experience, very reliable. Don't buy this case!
