Review on 🛠️ J-B Weld 2130 Vinyl & Leather Repair Kit by Junior Samson

I bought this hoping to fix a coin sized sensor on my SUV door panel. Following the instructions I prepared the area, used a backing cloth and glue, let it dry etc. After a few days I kneaded the finishing paste which turned out to be a good color match, a very close match based on the mixing instructions. . However, what happened was that when the textured board was applied and allowed to dry for the setting time and then some more, the final surface material stuck to the textured board and pulled away from the repair site. He even brought a cloth base, so I'm back to where I started with the texture sheet. I just didn't need to use or apply it after the mixture had set for a few hours. It wasn't mentioned in the instructions if I misread it. This kit works well for small punctures, possible tears in vinyl and leather. What went wrong in my attempt is not exactly known. I suggest that repairs should NOT be rushed. Give yourself the time and patience to get it right.
