I installed a new Araca LMP-H202 lamp in my Sony VPL-HW30ES projector and it is no brighter than the old 2100 hour lamp it replaced. I usually change the light bulb every 12 months and every time the difference in the brightness of the picture is very noticeable. I've bought about 6 lamps from different vendors and have noticed differences in brightness and lamp life, but this is the first time I've found any of them unsatisfactory. I will put the old lamp back in and send it back.
