I love how easy it is to put on and take off. It has no velcro! You can wash it with other laundry and don't worry about it snagging on other items. It's soft and gentle for rubbing in those states of constant drooling. The absorbency is pretty good. Sometimes I notice that drops of liquid (milk formula, saliva, etc.) slide off the material immediately. I think it depends on the thickness of the liquid. I tested water and juice on it and it absorbs instantly. I have seen droplets and drool of the formula stay for several minutes without being absorbed and the formula sometimes got down my baby's neckline. This can cause a rash or irritation due to milk remaining on the neck area. So just check your baby's throat and wipe it with a wet wipe as a precaution and then make sure it's dry. Overall I really like the product and I have bought more and also bought as gifts. I would buy them again without a doubt.
