Review on πŸ”§ SATA 4 Ton Hydraulic Bottle Jack - Model ST97802ASC - Enhanced for SEO by William Hood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Compact, easy to use, 4.7 inch jack, strong enough and stable

This "4 ton SATA hydraulic bottle jack” seems to be a pretty good jack for your car. It's much sturdier and easier to use than the tiny scissor jack your car usually comes with. I have a Toyota 4Runner full size SUV approaching 5000lbs/2.5 tons so this 4 ton jack will fit; You might be able to get away with the 2-ton version if you have a small passenger van, but you're probably better off getting this 4-ton version if you have a full-size sedan or SUV. Here are the key parameters Rise Height: 4.7" Minimum Height: 7.6" Maximum Height: 14.7" Extension Screw: 2.3" Clockwise lock the valve and you can begin to insert and bleed the grip. And when you need to lower the car, you just need to use the handle to slowly turn the valve counterclockwise and the shaft will fall back down. My SUV is raised (3" suspension + tire lift) so I appreciate the extra height with the extension screw, but I still need to use some traction boards or pieces of wood to increase the height of my slider. Or I should probably use the center of the axle housing (for rear) or the center of the cross member (for front) as the jack location. Overall I am happy with the quality and performance of this bottle jack. Although it's made in China, it feels high quality. I now carry it in my SUV for everyday use or long off-road adventures. Thank you for reading this review. I hope this review and photos help you with your purchase decision.
