I would say the instructions and steps to assemble this table are pretty clear and mostly easy to follow. However, if the pre-drilled holes don't line up, this becomes very problematic. it happened to me Luckily I have a drill and my own tools to fix the damage. I had to drill a new hole next to the misplaced pre-drilled hole and use the screw I already had to align the part with the other holes. A total inconvenience - a 30 minute job turned into over an hour late. And the table was still very unstable after assembly. It's nice to look at, but I wouldn't recommend it if you use it often or trust it to hold your plate or drinks.
