Returns: The bolt parts appear to be manufactured incorrectly

First, the bolt latch does not look like the bolt latch in the instructions. Second, the latch holes are incorrectly spaced to allow the screws to go through the latch from the front of the latch to the back of the latch. They just can't be aligned. I even tried taking the whole lock off to see if I could mount it on the floor rather than in the door. That does not work. Finally, the instructions are terrible. They don't provide diagrams of the different parts with their names, but assume you know the names for each of the different types of bolts and for each part of the lock.
