These rugs are heavyweight and non-slip. The material is thick, the plate is deep. I appreciate the high sides because they absorb dirt and moisture very well. They really don't smell. They also fit my 2008 rav4. I didn't even cut mine. They're expensive, but they last forever. This is an excellent investment. Especially if you live in a swampy area that gets a lot of rain and mud like mine. I just hose them down - like new.
