My pup is a service dog in training and I constantly have problems with socialization exercises when random kids come in for a pet and the parents won't stop forbidding. With this harness, they'll stop, ask questions, and keep their kids from running away. The harness does not pull on fur, is light and washes well (I have a sweater). I use a padded leash so neither the front nor rear ring have been used on walks to date but when I inspected it on arrival they withstood a tug while on a long leash in the yard.
